Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) was honored as Pag-IBIG Fund Hall of Famer, in recognition of the company as the top contributor to the agency’s savings fund from employers and its thousands of member seafarers. The recognition was presented during the Pag-IBIG Fund Chairman’s Report for Y2022, at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, in Pasay City on March 28.
MAGSAYSAY was honored to receive the recognition and is grateful to Pag-IBIG Fund for their trust and confidence in the organization. The organization is likewise grateful to its dedicated Magsaysay People, international partner Principals, and maritime industry and government partners who have all made this achievement.
Gracing the awarding ceremony was President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. who applauded the great work of the agency, as well as other government agencies, institutions, and private organizations. In addition, Pag-IBIG raised the regular savings dividend to 6.53% per annum and the Modified Pag-IBIG II (MP2) savings dividend to 7.03% per annum.
MAGSAYSAY was first recognized in February 2022 as a Hall of Famer awardee in recognition of its significant contributions in 2021.
