The pilot batch of Magsaysay Institute of Shipping (MIS) Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) course has finished the stay-in four months program on March 26. Ten trainees, six from Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and four from Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC), completed the hands-on training on electro-technology, marine high voltage, electro-hydraulics, electro-pneumatics, and motor and process controllers. They are guaranteed to have onboard ship training and will take the practical exam for the ETO Certificate of Competency (COC).
