With the unwavering commitment of MAGSAYSAY in promoting savings program benefits and affordable home financing for Filipino workers, Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) was again recognized by Pag-IBIG Fund as a Top Manning Agency Contributor for 2023. The award was presented during the Stakeholders Accomplishment Report (STAR) held at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City on April 16.
MAGSAYSAY envisions its seafarers to invest in a house of their own while working onboard. Then after a successful career at sea, it encourages seafarers to save their hard-earned money to build their dream homes. Receiving the plaque of recognition were MMC President Arnold Javier, Cruise Group Head Nori Leonidas, and OIC for Marine Group Capt. Ernel Lanuzga.
Expressing his gratitude for the unwavering support and dedication of MAGSAYSAY community members, Arnold said: “Building a home for their families is a dream of every Filipino. We are one with PAG-IBIG in making this dream a reality. We will continue to impart the importance of savings in securing a house of their own, sending their children to decent schools, and having a comfortable retirement.
