On August 14, 2026, One Stop Logistics Solutions, Inc. (OSL) employees participated in a tree-planting initiative at the Million Trees Nursery in the La Mesa Watershed in Quezon City, reinforcing the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.
Facilitated by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the team planted 500 seedlings of narra (Pterocarpus indicus), the Philippines’ national tree. Native to the country and considered endangered globally, narra is one of the main species used for forest restoration and conservation. Through the initiative, OSL contributed to ongoing efforts to restore the country’s forests and protect its biodiversity.
Despite heavy rains and slippery terrain, OSL employees braved a 2-kilometer trek through the watershed to complete the planting, capping off the day with a lively bus ride back to Manila.
The activity highlights OSL’s commitment to supporting environmental conservation, strengthen community engagement, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
