In support of the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Enhanced Work Immersion Program, Magsaysay People Resources Corporation (MPRC) has partnered with Raja Soliman Science and Technology High School (RSSTHS) to help bridge the gap between academic learning and industry readiness among senior high school students.
The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on July 18, 2025, at the Magsaysay Head Office in Manila. The signing was attended by key representatives from MPRC and A. Magsaysay, Inc. and Affiliates (AMIAFF), including HR and Organization Development Head Julian Paolo Nagtalon and HR Generalist Jamaica Nicolas. Representing RSSTHS were Principal June Hayden R. Sinson, Enhanced Work Immersion Program (EWIP) Coordinator Ross Marie Ann B. Gomez, and work immersion teachers Albert L. Reyes and Gabriel R. Obligado.
This collaboration is part of MPRC’s ongoing commitment to nation-building by investing in future talent and supporting the upskilling of the Filipino youth. Through this initiative, students from the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) strand at RSSTHS have been successfully deployed to AMI and MPRC IT for their immersion training. The program aims to provide students with meaningful, hands-on experience in a real-world professional environment, where they are mentored by industry experts and exposed to practical challenges and solutions. This approach is designed to equip students with the confidence, competencies, and experience needed to thrive in the workforce and enhance their employability upon graduation.
Located in San Nicolas, Manila, RSSTHS is one of 15 pilot implementers of DepEd’s Enhanced Work Immersion Program nationwide. This partnership also supports the broader goals of the Memorandum of Agreement signed between DepEd and the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) Jobs Committee—through the Private Sector Jobs and Skills Corporation (PCORP)—on August 8, 2024, at Malacañang Palace.
With Magsaysay President and CEO Doris Magsaysay Ho serving as a member of PSAC, MPRC remains steadfast in its support for initiatives that build strong industry-academe linkages and foster education-to-employment pathways—efforts that benefit both learners and the national economy.
