MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy (MMMA) held its fourth Launching Ceremony on August 16 at the MMMA Gymnasium for the Batch Regalleos who finished their academic journey. They are set to sail on their one-year onboard training.
The 170 cadets were welcomed by the founding members of the academy. Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) and Magsaysay MOL Marine Inc. (MMMI) management expressed their admiration and hope for the newest batch to be part of their manned vessels.
To give more inspiration to the cadets, a Magsaysay Institute of Shipping (MIS) alumnus took the stage and shared his success story in the industry. The ceremony also gave a chance for the cadets to express their gratitude to the academy and the people behind keeping the doors of opportunities open for them.
The three years that Batch Regalleos spent in the academy have prepared them for the life of sailing the high seas. Whether they will be swayed by the current or overcome the high tides, MMMA’s core values instilled in them will be their guiding light in their new voyage.
