Aspiring translators can now avail of their National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) Credentialed Community Language (CCL) test in person at the now NAATI-accredited secure testing facility at Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts, Inc. in Ermita, Manila.
This partnership offers benefits to candidates such as a secure, comfortable, and quiet venue to take the test, a computer device with high-speed internet, and an uninterrupted power supply. However, this does not entail additional costs and a change in the test delivery. The test will still run online, and the same rules will be applied.
MIHCA as the NAATI-accredited test center has started this September. Candidates have now the option of selecting Manila — Philippines as a test location. It can be booked through myNAATI account, but candidates can also contact MIHCA to make the booking.
NAATI is a non-profit organization and the national standard and certifying authority for translators and interpreters in Australia.
MIHCA through its program, Magsaysay Professional Training and Languages (MAGPro), has been offering language courses and accredited language test centers like the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
