MAGSAYSAY Welcomes Isuzu Motors Delegates

A delegation from Japan’s Isuzu Motors Limited (IML) visited Magsaysay Group offices last November 27 as part of its mission to promote the activities of the Isuzu Heart & Smile Project, the company’s social contribution program in the Philippines.

IML established the Isuzu Heart and Smile Project to produce skilled and globally competitive auto mechanics for deployment to Japan and help alleviate unemployment in the Philippines. Magsaysay Global Services, Inc. (MGSI) and Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA), through its Magsaysay Professional Training and Languages (MagPro) Program, welcomed the delegates at the 1010 Building in Manila.

MagPro has been part of this project since 2021 by providing 320 hours of Japanese Language and Culture training for Isuzu candidates, covering reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and daily life in Japan. The training aims to prepare candidates to work and live in Japan and achieve N5 proficiency. MagPro proudly facilitated the tour, where the delegates enjoyed observing the language training classes, engaging with students, and conversing with them in Nihongo

IML also partnered with MGSI and MM Empower for the deployment of its candidates to Japan. MGSI provided updates on the status of the upcoming deployment.

Magsaysay World Communications was also present to assist IML’s PR team and media partner during their interview with MagPro Program Manager and photo shoot with the students.
