The Magsaysay People Resources Corporation (MPRC) Learning and Development (L&D) team showcased Magsaysay’s purpose-driven and future-ready employee development initiatives at the Cornerstone Connect Live 2025 held on October 8 in Singapore. Hosted by Magsaysay’s JumpIn partner, Cornerstone, the event gathered HR and learning professionals from various countries to discuss how organizations are shaping the future of work through innovation, agility, and continuous learning.
Representing Magsaysay, L&D Director Lai Lawson joined other industry leaders as a panelist in the session discussing “Future-Ready HR: How Leaders Are Redefining Skills, Learning, and Agility.” She shared how organizations can strengthen their workforce by embedding learning into every aspect of their operations. She highlighted how MPRC’s purpose of enriching people’s lives through fulfilling careers powered by training and development places L&D at the heart of its identity. She also discussed how this purpose translates into action through an integrated digital learning ecosystem that continues to open new possibilities for growth and connection across Magsaysay’s global workforce.
Furthermore, she underscored both “We Care” and “Everything Matters” as guiding principles that drive how leaders engage and how teams collaborate for a common goal. By championing empathy, attention to detail, and accountability, they transform learning into a culture—one where every individual contributes to collective growth and shared success.
To close her message, Lai stressed, “Nothing is impossible. Because the impossible becomes possible when read as ‘I’m possible.’” Her words capture the team’s enduring belief that with purpose, care, and commitment to learning, every challenge becomes an opportunity for growth.
