In ensuring that safety practices are at the forefront of every MAGSAYSAY business, the crewing department of Magsaysay Shipmanagement, Inc. (MSI) held a Crew Conference for M/T Abalon of Batangas Bay Carriers, Inc. (BBCI) on September 1 at The Robert Hall of Times Plaza Building.
The one-day conference gathered 22 participants with various activities centered on raising awareness on life and hospitalization insurance, financial literacy, cardiovascular health, and fire safety onboard.
Also present at the conference are representatives from Magsaysay Houlders Insurance Brokers, Inc. (MH), Magsaysay Health, Safety, Environment, and Security team, and industrial safety supplier, Ultra Seer.
The crew conference is a bi-annual activity conducted by MSI whenever a vessel is on a dry dock. The event aims to remind and support crew on the importance of their wellness and safety onboard.
