Magsaysay MOL Marine Inc. (MMM) held its 25th Family Day themed “One Family: Celebrating Togetherness,” last November 11 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Plenary Hall and Star City in Pasay City.
For the first time, hundreds of MMM crew and families filled the enormous Plenary Hall of PICC. To make it more memorable, MOL top management flew from Japan including MOL Chairman Junichiro Ikeda-san who humored the crowd with his short Filipino phrases during his speech. Ikeda-san emphasized the importance of keeping safe operations and maintaining healthy well-being to spend more days with family members. He expressed his gratitude for seeing the families gathered to spend a day full of entertainment and fun.
During the short program at the PICC Plenary Hall, different talents were showcased. Kids and kids by heart were mesmerized by the Disney medley performed by Tawag ng Tanghalan Champion Elaine Duran.
Also gracing the ceremony was Magsaysay Group President and CEO Doris Magsaysay Ho. She recognized the loyalty of MMMI service awardees, the significant roles of seafarers in global trade, and the support of the families in making them happen.
