Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) and Magsaysay Global Services, Inc. (MGSI) participated in the recently concluded job fair and medical mission in Malolos City, Bulacan on February 3 to offer overseas sea-based and local land-based opportunities.
The activity was organized by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in commemoration of the late journalist and high-ranking politician Gat Blas F. Ople’s 96th birthday and was held in collaboration with the Bulacan Provincial Government and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). DMW Secretary Susan Ople encouraged Filipino job seekers to consider local placements before looking for overseas opportunities. She also advised the public to be vigilant of job offers from social media and trust legal and official manning agencies like MMC and MGSI as both MAGSAYSAY companies do not ask for placement and processing fees.
