Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) participated in the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Online Refresher Program on January 31 and February 7.
The program discussed various topics including POEA standard terms and conditions in handling crew claims, POEA rules, Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and POEA proceedings, and MMC’s Operational Risk Management.
MMC strongly complies with the government’s policies in handling crew which includes active participation in seminars and refreshers similar to this. This is to protect the welfare of Filipino seafarers who play a critical part in the maritime industry.
