MAGSAYSAY Wives Club, a special group for the wives of the Magsaysay seafarers, turned over their proceeds from their harana (serenade) activity on February 14 to the Parochial Church of Sto. Nino of Pandacan, Manila.
The parish church was hit by fire in 2020, and the group hopes that the amount they donated could help in the restoration and other needs.
A portion of the proceeds, on the other hand, was given as financial assistance to a Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) employee who also experienced a fire incident in their residence in March.
