MAGSAYSAY Homer Foundation Donates to MovEd

Homer Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of MAGSAYSAY, demonstrated its commitment to education by donating P100,000 to the Molding Optimism and Values Thru Education (MovEd) Organization on June 14.

Homer President Marlon Roño and Executive Director Alfonso “Jong” Pablo, Jr. personally presented the cheque to MovEd Board of Trustee Jesse Maxwell and Managing Director Maria Theresa Bukay Lagman.

During the event, they discussed potential future collaborations aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for children in underprivileged communities.

Homer has a longstanding commitment to education, supporting MAGSAYSAY seafarers and partnering with local government units (LGUs) and other socio-civic organizations to improve access to quality education. MovEd, similarly dedicated to its mission, focuses on providing quality early childhood education to Filipino children across the country.

The donation underscores Homer’s ongoing efforts to make a meaningful impact on education and community development, ensuring a brighter future for young learners nationwide.
