Magsaysay welcomed a delegation from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on August 18, 2026, at the Magsaysay building in Kalaw, Manila, for a discussion on migration and labour mobility and to further strengthen the organizations’ ongoing engagement.
The delegation was led by International Organization for Migration (IOM) Programme Manager for Migration Management Unit Yuko Tomita and was welcomed by President and CEO of Magsaysay Group Doris Magsaysay Ho and Magsaysay People Resources Corporation (MPRC) President Marlon R. Roño.
During the visit, Magsaysay shared an overview of its organization and its work across the global workforce sector, including the role of Magsaysay Global Services, Inc. (MGSI) in the recruitment and deployment of Filipino workers to international markets.
IOM also shared its work in supporting safe, orderly, and regular migration, including efforts to strengthen labour mobility pathways and promote the protection and well-being of migrant workers. The exchange provided both organizations with an opportunity to further understand their respective work and discuss how their existing engagement can continue to support shared objectives.
The visit builds on the ongoing engagement between Magsaysay and IOM and opens further conversations on how both organizations can contribute to more responsive and sustainable pathways for Filipino workers.
Magsaysay looks forward to continuing this dialogue as it works with partners across the migration and global workforce sector.
