For 56 years, Magsaysay Training Center (MTC) has helped shape careers, develop skills, and prepare generations of professionals for opportunities in the maritime and global workforce. MTC recently commemorated its 56th anniversary themed “56 Years of Learning That Moves People Forward,” honoring the people, partnerships, and shared commitment behind its continued growth.
Held on July 28, 2026, at the Times Plaza Building in Manila, the milestone event brought together industry partners, stakeholders, trainees, enrollees, instructors, and employees for a morning of reflection and appreciation. The program highlighted MTC’s key achievements while recognizing the individuals and partner organizations that have supported its mission over the decades.
As MTC marks another year of service, it continues to build on a legacy of learning that has guided the institution for more than five decades. Supported by its community and industry partners, MTC remains committed to developing globally competitive professionals and creating opportunities that move people forward in the maritime and global workforce sectors.
