Advancing Global Welding Standards with Hitcon PH
MLRI signed a partnership agreement with Hitcon PH to jointly develop internationally aligned training programs in ISO 9606 welding certification, equipping Filipino welders with competencies that meet global industry standards.
The collaboration opens pathways for skilled professionals seeking employment in Europe and other international markets, where demand for globally certified welders remains high.
Preparing the Workforce for the Renewable Energy Sector
MLRI also formalized its partnership with BESTSTRAC to launch training programs in photovoltaic (solar) installation and maintenance, addressing the growing demand for skilled technical workers in the renewable energy sector.
Combining technical theory with practical application, the initiative aims to build local capabilities to support the expanding adoption of solar energy technologies both in the Philippines and abroad.
Beyond introducing new training opportunities, the partnerships further strengthen the Magsaysay Learning Group’s training ecosystem by creating opportunities for Magsaysay Institute of Shipping (MIS) and its other learning institutions to expand their program offerings in response to evolving industry requirements.
