Magsaysay People Resources Corp. (MPRC) officially launched the Magsaysay Caravan 2026 on June 29, 2026, in Trece Martires City, Cavite. Serving as the first stop in a series of recruitment activities, the caravan aims to bring global career opportunities directly to Filipino communities.
Organized in partnership with the Cavite Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO), the event served as a one-stop venue for recruitment and professional development. Jobseekers were able to explore career pathways, undergo on-site recruitment, and learn about training programs designed to support long-term professional growth.
Led by Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC), the caravan brought together other MPRC business units, including Magsaysay Global Services, Inc. (MGSI) and the Magsaysay Learning Group, represented by Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA), Magsaysay Training Center (MTC), and Magsaysay Institute of Shipping (MIS). While MMC and MGSI conducted recruitment for sea-based and land-based positions, MIHCA, MTC, and MIS introduced visitors to industry-aligned education and training programs that prepare aspiring professionals for careers in the maritime, hospitality, and global workforce sectors.
The inaugural event drew 729 jobseekers, reflecting strong interest in accessible employment opportunities. The close collaboration with the Cavite Provincial PESO helped extend the initiative’s reach across the province and neighboring communities, highlighting a shared commitment to local workforce development.
