Batangas Bay Carriers, Inc. (BBCI) marked a major milestone as its vessel, MT Star Sirius, successfully completed its 1,000th safe voyage.
The achievement highlights the crew’s strict adherence to maritime safety and operational excellence. To honor this milestone, a recognition program and onboard lunch were held last June 26, 2026, at the Shell Import Facility in Tabangao, Batangas.
The event was attended by representatives from the Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) Tankers Division, who joined the crew in celebrating their shared commitment to ensuring every seafarer returns home safely.
More than just a number, this milestone represents the daily professionalism, discipline, and commitment to safety of the entire crew. As the vessel sails forward, the achievement serves as a reminder that safety is a continuous journey.
