Ambassador of Denmark to the Philippines Frantz-Michael Mellbin and Senior Commercial Officer Jo-nie Raagas of the Royal Danish Embassy in Manila paid a courtesy visit to MAGSAYSAY on July 3. Magsaysay and Global Process Manager, Inc. (GPM) leaders welcomed the distinguished guests to their offices.
On the agenda was the discussion of opportunities for additional cooperation between Denmark and the Philippines in areas such as the exchange of staff and expertise in the medical field, the green transition of the economy, and training and certification of wind turbine technicians for the booming onshore and offshore wind energy sector. Within the past quarter, two Danish companies have announced combined investments of USD 7 billion in the Philippine offshore wind energy sector, leading to substantial job creation in the country.
