MIHCA Cavite Launches New Caregiving Program

To reflect its dedication to nurturing professionals, especially those who embody empathy and excellence in service, Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) Cavite proudly launched its newest educational offering: the Caregiving Program. Offered in response to the growing demand for skilled healthcare workers both locally and abroad, the program officially opened its doors to trainees on August 15 in a launching ceremony and blessing at the MIHCA Cavite campus in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The new program highlights MIHCA’s ongoing commitment to shaping individuals who are not only skilled but also compassionate in providing care. With the rising need for caregivers locally and abroad, the program is designed to equip students with essential knowledge and hands-on experience required to provide competent care to individuals in various settings, including homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.

It aligns with MIHCA’s commitment to delivering world-class training that meets international standards.

A simple mass, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, was held at MIHCA Cavite’s campus. The ceremony was led by Magsaysay People Resources Corporation (MPRC) Chairman Marlon Roño, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region IV-A Provincial Director Gerry Marasigan, MIHCA President Paolo Guevara, and Magsaysay Learning Resources Inc. (MLRI) Institute Director Alex Enriquez. The event marked a significant milestone in MIHCA’s continued efforts to provide accessible and high-quality education in the region.

In the afternoon, an Open House welcomed attendees, including prospective students and community members. Guests had the opportunity to tour the campus, meet instructors, and learn more about the Caregiving Program’s curriculum and career pathways.

Enrollment for the Caregiving Program is now open. Interested learners may visit the MIHCA Cavite campus or contact the admissions office for more information via jenny.mendoza@mihca.edu.ph or (+63) 917-623-4870.
