Magsaysay proudly participated in the recently concluded Marino World Manning Expo and Conference, held from September 29 to October 1, 2025, at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Hall 3, in celebration of National Maritime Week.
Representing Magsaysay at the event were its learning institutions—Magsaysay Training Center (MTC), Magsaysay Institute of Shipping (MIS), Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA), and MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy (MMMA)—along with its manning arm, Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC).
Throughout the three-day expo, hundreds of aspiring seafarers explored career opportunities and engaged with Magsaysay’s sourcing specialists, who provided hands-on assistance in creating profiles on the Magsaysay Careers website, streamlining the application process for maritime employment.
In addition, Magsaysay’s education and training units showcased a wide array of maritime, culinary arts, and hospitality programs, offering guidance to attendees seeking to pursue academic and professional pathways in the industry. Expo visitors also received exclusive merchandise and giveaways, adding to the vibrant and engaging atmosphere of the event.
The Marino World Manning Expo and Conference brought together government agencies, manning companies, training centers, and media partners, reaffirming the collective commitment of the maritime sector to support seafarers and promote excellence in maritime education and career development.
