MAGSAYSAY People (MPs) once again demonstrated Enthusiasm and Resilience at the 14th Filipino Association for Mariners’ Employment (FAME) Fun Run, July 29, clinching the biggest contingent for the fourth time in a row.
MPs proved that the One MAGSAYSAY spirit is strong despite the rainstorm over the weekend. A total of 432 MPS heeded the call for this year’s FAME Run with the theme “Go Marino Go! Healthy Body, Healthy Mind,” a heroes run paying tribute to the service, sacrifices, and commitment of Filipino seafarers.
A post-activity in celebration of the Day of the Seafarers last June 25, this year’s FAME Run is inspired by the stories of the seafarers about survival, resilience, and unity amidst the global pandemic. It hoped to celebrate these stories and the seafarers’ hard work and dedication through the fun run event.
