Mabini, Batangas – Isla Group has strengthened its nationwide logistics capability with the blessing and naming ceremony of PURE GRACE, a dedicated LPG carrier developed through its new partnership with Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL). The vessel will play a central role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and timely delivery of Solane LPG across the Philippines.
The event marks a key milestone in Isla Group’s continuing commitment to provide customers with easier access to safe and high-quality LPG products—reinforcing its promise of peace of mind for households, businesses, and establishments nationwide.
“As I look around and see our partners from Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics, one thing is immediately clear: there is a strong cultural alignment between Magsaysay and the Isla Group. We share the same values — professionalism, a deep respect for safety, and a commitment to following the highest standards and procedures,” said Jose Ricardo Delgado, Isla Group’s Excom Chairman.
“These principles are not just words for us; they are the very foundation of a successful partnership. Today is especially meaningful because we are not just launching a vessel — we are launching a new chapter in how we serve our customers nationwide” shared Delgado.
PURE GRACE will serve as Isla Group’s official vessel for transporting Solane LPG to Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. With its addition to the company’s operations, Isla Group strengthens its logistics chain and further ensures that its products reach customers efficiently, safely, and without interruption.
The partnership between Isla Group and Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) was formed after an extensive search for a logistics partner capable of meeting the company’s high operational and safety requirements.
The MSL Tankers Division, through Islas Tankers Seatransport Corporation (ITSC), brings decades of maritime expertise and a strong track record in tanker vessel management, making it the preferred collaborator to support Isla Group’s growing supply chain needs. Both companies share core values centered on professionalism, operational discipline, and an unwavering commitment to safety—principles that are critical in transporting LPG, a vital energy source consumed by millions of Filipinos
“For many years, the Isla Group has been serving Filipino communities across the nation, ensuring households and industries have access to safe, reliable, and high-quality Solane LPG. Today, we are privileged to become part of that mission. Being chosen as the official carrier of Solane LPG products is an honor that we hold with great pride and responsibility.”, shared Jesse H. Maxwell, Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics, President and CEO. “We are excited and proud to begin this long-term partnership through this vessel and the critical services it will provide. We are proud to stand with the Isla Group in your mission to bring peace of mind to every Filipino home and establishment that relies on Solane LPG,” said Maxwell.
For Isla Group, the deployment of PURE GRACE represents a significant step forward in its mission to deliver safe and timely LPG products nationwide. For Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics, it underscores the company’s long-standing role in enabling essential industries through safe, professional, and reliable maritime operations.
More than serving Isla Group’s internal requirements, the deployment of PURE GRACE is also envisioned to help improve LPG logistics across the broader Philippine energy industry.
Together, Isla Group and Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics are setting a new benchmark in the safe and efficient transport of LPG—strengthening the country’s energy supply chain and delivering trust, reliability, and peace of mind to Filipino homes and establishments across the nation.
