Magsaysay Learning Resources, Inc. (MLRI) conducted an in-house Cargo and Ballast Handling for LPG Tanker (CBHS) Training for Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) on September 21, 22, and 25, 2026, as part of corrective actions to address identified findings.
The training covered cargo and ballast handling procedures specific to LPG tanker operations, with emphasis on operational safety, environmental protection, and compliance with international regulations. The sessions also provided MSL’s sea-based and shore-based personnel with an opportunity to review the procedures and requirements involved in LPG tanker operations.
Through specialized training such as CBHS, MLRI delivers instruction on cargo handling and other technical areas relevant to maritime operations. The program supported corrective actions for the identified findings while reinforcing proper cargo and ballast handling practices aboard LPG tankers.
