One Stop Logistics Solutions, Inc. (OLSI) and the University of Asia and the Pacific Foundation, Inc. (UA&P) have formalized a partnership to strengthen industry-academe collaboration in supply chain and logistics. The initiative aims to create opportunities for innovative research, firsthand learning, and the development of future-ready logistics professionals.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing was held on June 30, 2026, at the UA&P campus in Pasig City. It marks the beginning of a one-year collaborative study designed to explore initiatives in research, knowledge sharing, student immersion, and industry engagement. Through the partnership, UA&P students and faculty members will gain opportunities to better understand the realities of the logistics sector, while OLSI will benefit from fresh perspectives and research-driven insights from the academic community.
During the signing event, OLSI General Manager Miguel Gutierrez presented five potential case studies for UA&P students to explore: transaction discrepancies, Less-than-Container Load (LCL) service rules, peak-season port congestion, timely supplier billing processes, and warehouse optimization.
At the end of the study, UA&P will provide recommendations and a proposed roadmap for future collaborative initiatives. The partnership reflects the shared commitment of OLSI and UA&P to identify opportunities that foster innovation and create meaningful value for students, industry practitioners, and the broader logistics community.
