Bartenders and beverage professionals from across the Visayas and Mindanao gathered for the MONIN Cup 2026 Philippines VisMin Regionals, showcasing creativity and innovation through this year’s theme, “Timeless Twists.”
Held on April 13, 2026 at Tipsy Dog Bar in Tambuli Seaside Resort and Spa (Cebu), the competition challenged participants to reinterpret classic beverages with modern techniques and fresh flavor profiles using MONIN products. The event highlighted craftsmanship, storytelling through flavor, and the evolving artistry of mixology.
Participants presented original beverage concepts inspired by timeless recipes and forgotten flavors, blending tradition with innovation in memorable and creative ways.
At the end of the competition, the Top 3 finalists who advanced to the next stage of the MONIN Cup Philippines competition were Hans Cabisan of The Oak Room representing Cagayan de Oro with “Nostalgia”, Karen Rabanes of Party Everywhere Mobile Bar representing Cagayan de Oro with “The Piñata”, and Andrew Gabales of Club Serena Resort representing Cebu with “Laguno”.
Guests also enjoyed a special Bar Takeover session led by Beverage Expert of MONIN Asia-Pacific- Philippines, featuring signature MONIN creations that showcased flavor innovation and beverage craftsmanship.
The MONIN Cup 2026 journey continues with the Luzon Regionals scheduled for June 29, 2026, in Manila. The Top 3 winners from both the VisMin and Luzon Regionals will advance to the MONIN Cup Philippines National Finals where the grand winner will earn the opportunity to represent the country at the upcoming MONIN Cup APAC Finals in Kuala Lumpur.
