The Magsaysay Building Atrium transformed into a vibrant sea of blue on August 29, 2025, as over 600 Magsaysay People (MPs) gathered to mark the company’s third consecutive year of certification as a Great Place to Work®. MPs from Magsaysay People Resources Corporation (MPRC), A. Magsaysay, Inc. and Affiliates (AMIAFF), and guest MPs from Global Process Manager, Inc. (GPM) and the Travel Group joined the fun, toasting to another recognition of the uniquely caring, inclusive, and people-centric culture that MPs have created and continuously nurtured.
The festive atmosphere intensified as the night of pride and gratitude went on, with each moment serving as a reminder of what this recognition truly means and of what truly makes MAGSAYSAY a great place to work in. As MPRC President Marlon Roño said in his message, “Being a great place to work means you take pride in your work.”
MPRC Vice President Patrick H. Maxwell built on this, sharing that “this is not just a certificate. This emphasizes our culture of teamwork, respect, and care that we have for each other… Let’s continue to make Magsaysay not just a great place to work but a great place to grow.”
Meanwhile, Magsaysay Group President Doris Magsaysay Ho brought the room to a heartfelt pause with her message of purpose: “I hope that you all feel that this is a great place to grow because we have a purpose. We have a purpose because we provide thousands of people opportunity. Every one of you is helping thousands and thousands of families find their own fulfillment… (MAGSAYSAY is) a great place to work because of you, a great place to grow, and a great place to have purpose.”
Diligently organized by the MPRC HR Team, the celebration came alive with thumping beats and timeless music, delicious treats from the Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA), and booths serving churros, ice cream, and refreshing mocktails. The photobooth also became a crowd favorite, with MPs capturing moments alongside colleagues and leaders.
As music filled the Atrium and conversations flowed over food and drinks, the night became a vivid reminder that the GPTW Certification is not just about recognition—it is about the people behind it. Every smile, every story, and every shared moment reflected why Magsaysay continues to be a community built on pride, respect, and care.
