Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) team welcomed the delegates from the United States Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service (USDA FAS) and Alumni of the USDA Cochran Fellowship Program during their appreciation visit at the MSL Hub in Taguig City last October 17.
The visit kicked off with a tour of MSL’s cold storage warehouse. After which, MSL and USDA FAS engaged in discussions regarding the country’s efforts to improve the agriculture sector and how the USDA FAS can contribute to these goals. Highlighted in the discussion was the need to partner with integrated cold chain providers to make farm-to-market programs a reality. With MSL’s commitment to providing integrated supply chain management, the company continues to improve its systems and technologies to help the local agriculture sector while meeting international food and product safety requirements.
The MSL management team expressed their gratitude to the USDA FAS delegates for the inclusion of the MSL Hub in their itinerary in the country. During the courtesy visit, MSL’s operations was also showcased in a video presentation highlighting MSL’s purpose of contributing to the benefits of trade for producers, consumers, workforce, and society through vital shipping and transport services.
